Stockholm - On July 14, 2025, Crown Princess Victoria celebrated her 48th birthday on the island of Öland - and was surprised by a very special gift.

A Birthday of Double Significance

On this day, little Astrid, the first child of Hedvig Söderström (26), was born. Hedvig is the daughter of Anna Westling, the older sister of Prince Daniel (51), and therefore Victoria's niece. For Anna, the birth of her granddaughter means becoming a grandmother at only 54 years old. Little Astrid will now not only share her name day but also her birthday with the Swedish heir to the throne. This touching coincidence likely filled the entire royal family with great joy. Although Hedvig Söderström is not officially part of the royal family, she maintains a close relationship with her blue-blooded relatives - a bond that has been demonstrated on several occasions.
