During the recent state visit of King Charles and Queen Camilla to the United States, an unexpected family connection has sparked both intrigue and humor. Donald Trump has funnily suggested that he might inquire about the possibility of moving into Buckingham Palace, thanks to a distant familial tie revealed by British tabloids.

According to reports, a shared ancestry links the former U.S. President and the British monarch as approximately 15th cousins, tracing back to John Stewart, 3rd Earl of Lennox, and his daughter, Lady Helen Stewart. This lineage is said to connect to the MacLeod name, which is significant to Trump since it's the maiden name of his mother, Mary Anne MacLeod, who hailed from Lewis, Scotland.
