Small steps toward contact

Harry and Meghan have kept a low profile since arriving and so far there has been no public sign of a reunion with the wider royal family. Harry told the BBC in May 2025, "I would love reconciliation with my family." He has taken steps with his father: the couple and their children met King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House in July, the first time in four years the King had seen Meghan, Archie and Lilibet.

Stalemate between brothers

Despite those meetings, sources say the relationship between Harry and William remains strained. Insiders describe it as "so broken," with reportedly little or no contact in years.
