Judge Tosses Key Claims in Asha Daniels' Suit Against Lizzo's Tour

Plaintiff's response

Daniels' attorney Ron Zambrano said they are disappointed, arguing the court improperly weighed evidence and downplayed alleged sexually charged conduct and other incidents. He also disputed the court's view on an ankle injury and ADA protections and said the team is considering next steps.

Background and other suits

Daniels originally alleged racist and fat-phobic remarks, denial of medical care, anxiety and PTSD, and a culture of bullying during the European leg. Separately, Lizzo still faces sexual harassment and assault lawsuits from three former backup dancers filed in August 2023.
