The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will establish a private, non-royal residence in the U.K. while keeping their Montecito home and a vacation property in Portugal. The exact location and the children’s school are being kept under wraps.

Royal ties, but not working royals

King Charles was informed of the plans on August 16 and is said to welcome more private family time. The couple will remain private individuals and non-working members of the royal family, after relinquishing Frogmore Cottage in 2023 following Harry’s memoir, Spare.
