Career and creative work

Following his graduation from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Hunter has appeared on several of his father’s shows, including Guy’s Grocery Games and Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. In 2021 he made a short documentary, What Plants Can Do, about ZENB’s yellow pea pasta in North Dakota, a project he approached with nervous determination and lessons learned from mentors.

Personal life update

Hunter proposed to professional pickleball player Tara Bernstein at the family Thanksgiving in 2023, and the couple married in August 2025.

What's next

Guy has said he wants Hunter to carve his own path before stepping into larger roles on family projects, though he’s openly excited about the possibility of Hunter taking on more responsibility in the future.
