Hill's sons, YG Marley and Zion Marley, joined the stage during the festival curated by Hill and hosted by Dave Chappelle. Diaspora Calling! — which first launched in Brooklyn in 2016 — marked the 30th anniversary of The Score.
Pras Michel did not attend; he is currently serving a 14-year federal sentence. Hill reflected on the group's journey, telling the crowd, "When we started, this was the mission from the beginning," and speaking with the BBC the duo said they were "in an amazing place." When asked about future music together, Hill answered "absolutely," noting an "incredible healing process" among bandmates. The pair previously reunited at the 2024 BET Awards.
