Judge Rejects Disqualification Request

U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden refused defendant Cole Tomas Allen’s motion to disqualify U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro and Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche from the prosecution. The judge found neither official met the legal definition of a victim and said their presence at the event did not require recusal.

Allegations and Court Findings

Court filings say Allen allegedly breached a Secret Service checkpoint at the Washington Hilton on April 25 while armed with a shotgun, and that a Secret Service officer was wounded before Allen was detained.
