Andrew and the fallout

Andrew, 66, was arrested on Feb. 19 on suspicion of misconduct in public office tied to allegations he shared information with Jeffrey Epstein while serving as an envoy. In October 2025 the King removed his royal titles after U.S. Department of Justice documents renewed scrutiny. Andrew lost military titles in 2022 amid a lawsuit from Virginia Giuffre; he later settled that claim out of court. Giuffre died by suicide on April 24, 2025. Andrew has denied wrongdoing. After the arrest the King said, "The law must take its course."

Family keeps a low profile

Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson have kept out of the spotlight — he reportedly moved to a house on the Sandringham estate while she was seen in the Austrian Alps. Daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie skipped this year’s Trooping, with a source saying they want to protect their young children from the controversy.
