Public Absences Fuel Rumors

RadarOnline reports the couple have spent much of the past eight months apart: Harris hit the road on a memoir tour for 107 Days while Emhoff kept public engagements at home. Emhoff accepted a humanitarian award from the Inner City Law Center on May 20, a ceremony Harris did not attend; he was also present when Harris spoke at the Public Counsel William O. Douglas Award Dinner on April 29. In an April interview Harris said she is "thinking about" another presidential run and earlier, in July 2025, she ruled out a California governor bid.

New Malibu Life

The duo bought a Malibu cliffside home in January for $8.15 million — a 4,000-square-foot, four-bedroom, six-bath house in Point Dume — after years in a Brentwood residence Emhoff purchased in 2012. They were photographed strolling near the beach on May 6; insiders say the Malibu property is more secluded and easier to secure than their old curbside Brentwood home.
