On May 23 the 9th Earl Spencer announced a baby alpaca had been born at Althorp House and revealed its name: Sedona, chosen after the Arizona location where he and Cat Jarman were married. The young cria was reportedly lively and staying close to its mother under her watchful care, the earl wrote alongside photos on Instagram.
The newlyweds also hosted players and partners from the Northamptonshire cricket team for a barbecue at Althorp. Spencer said his family has long ties to the county club and even offered a formal banquet in the house’s dining room should the team win this summer’s T20 Blast.
