At the Javits Center the 35-year-old Roberts and 39-year-old Peters stood side-by-side as the AHS casting was revealed, with photos capturing their unexpected public reunion during the Disney presentation.

Longtime AHS stars Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe and Billie Lourd were also present. Paul Anthony Kelly, 37, joined the cast and quipped, “I guess every nightmare needs fresh blood … and thirteen's my lucky number.” FX says season 13 will honor the show’s feared number and bring back fan-favorite roles. Ryan Murphy teased Roberts’ return in April with a clip of her as Madison Montgomery saying, “Surprise bitch. Bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.”
