KJ Apa has finally broken his silence about the viral TikTok musician known as Mr. Fantasy — and he didn't hold back. Read on to discover the full story!
In a May 6 Instagram video, the 28-year-old actor said he’d avoided addressing the speculation until Mr. Fantasy’s online persona began to "impact my life personally." Apa urged action after claiming the mimicry damaged his reputation and even cost him a "huge job," leaving him unable to pursue serious work.
Apa asserted that the creator had "misappropriated my image and my likeness," including tattoos, and objected to a new music video for the song "Do Me Right," which will appear on the debut album FANTASYLAND. He said the video used people close to him and that the situation was harming his career.
