A new book, Isabel Vincent's RFK Jr.: The Fall and Rise, draws on Kennedy's diaries to outline numerous alleged dalliances, some said to have occurred during his marriage to Mary Richardson Kennedy. The memoirs and recent reporting revived scrutiny after a widely reported 2024 sexting episode with magazine writer Olivia Nuzzi. Hines described the media storm in her memoir, Unscripted (published in November), writing, "The swirl of headlines, rumors, and insinuations was upsetting and overwhelming," and adding, "I hated all of it."
