Knight, the vain-but-funny Ted Baxter, was father to three: Ted Jr., Elyse and Eric. He died in August 1982 after a battle with cancer.

Cloris Leachman

Leachman and George Englund raised five children — Bryan, Morgan, Adam, George and Dinah. Several pursued acting; Morgan had a long run on Guiding Light. Leachman died in January 2021.
