Reports say the actor was at a North Hollywood restaurant on April 29 when paramedics from the LAFD responded at about 1:40 p.m. A 66-year-old male was treated on site and transported for further care.

Manager: reassuring update

Brad Kramer, Rhames’ manager, told outlets the star was released from the hospital and was "on his way home" that evening. Kramer said Rhames sounded like his usual self, even cracking a joke, and suggested he may have been overheated at the time.
