Speaking at the Kyiv Security Conference, Harry drew on a decade in the British army, including two tours of Afghanistan, to warn the war’s impact will last “for years to come.” He highlighted the Invictus Games Foundation’s work with wounded, injured and sick veterans and praised the Superhumans Center in Lviv for helping restore lives.
He voiced support for The HALO Trust’s landmine clearance, noting the immense scale of the challenge and echoing his long connection to the cause. This was his latest of several Ukraine trips, following earlier unannounced visits, including one in September when he spent a day in Kyiv by invitation of the Ukrainian government. He has also phoned HALO workers and urged the public to spread safety messages and donate to support efforts on the ground.
