Backstage reunion

The former A League of Their Own costars later posed together in the outfits from the set. On April 22 Davis shared a backstage photo on Instagram and captioned it in character: "Mae - so happy to see you again! Love, Dottie."

Nostalgia and new music

The performance included Madonna dueting on "Vogue" and "Like a Prayer," closing with a track tied to her upcoming Confessions II project. Madonna wrote she was "still flying high since Friday night at Coachella!" The reunion comes 34 years after the 1992 film that made Dottie and Mae icons.
