The 60-year-old actress arrived in a chic floral coat dress with a white architectural bag, dangly earrings, glasses and socks with heels, while Ressler, 65, wore a classic tuxedo as they joined museum patrons for the opening.
Gertz began on TV, appearing on Diff'rent Strokes and The Facts of Life before starring in Square Pegs (1982–83). She moved into films with Sixteen Candles, Less Than Zero and The Lost Boys, later returning for Twister in 1996 despite a break from features.
