Explosive entries

Excerpts published in a new book and earlier press copies include candid passages in which RFK Jr. wrote of wanting more and of battling what he called "lust demons." He blamed parts of his marriage for driving infidelity, and entries claim numerical codes for sexual encounters. One entry dated Feb. 6, 2001, described resisting a temptation by two women, saying he prayed for strength to refuse.

Denials and later controversy

When confronted in 2013 about the alleged diary, RFK Jr. denied having a journal from 2001. The matter resurfaced amid later cheating allegations involving his relationship with Cheryl Hines and reporting about a personal relationship with journalist Olivia Nuzzi that led to her suspension.
