After meeting Donald Trump at a 2014 summit, Lewandowski became Trump’s campaign manager in January 2015 and left the post in 2016. He briefly worked as a CNN commentator, appeared on other networks, and in 2017 founded Lewandowski Strategic Advisors, where he is president and CEO.
He has been married to Alison Lewandowski since 2005 and they have four children. Alison’s previous husband was killed in the September 11 attacks aboard United Airlines Flight 175, according to reports.
Rumors linking Lewandowski and Gov. Kristi Noem surfaced as early as 2019 and intensified after a Wall Street Journal exposé describing internal turmoil at the Department of Homeland Security. Both Lewandowski and Noem have denied the affair allegations, and the White House has disputed the reporting.
