A dog park sounds like a paradise for four-legged friends. But if you're only a few months old, tiny, and for the first time among dozens of other dogs, such an outing can be quite overwhelming. This was also noticed by mini-dachshund Susan during her very first visit.

Normally Not Afraid at All

Little Susan, who was adopted at the age of eight weeks in October 2025, was known as a curious and social pup. She had already met other dogs and usually did just fine. But the dog park proved to be a step too far.

The Viral Moment in the Dog Park

In a now viral TikTok video, it can be seen how Susan fearfully hides between the legs of a man and observes the busy dog life on the lawn. As soon as other dogs sniff at her curiously, the little dachshund clings even tighter to the trouser leg of her "protector" and looks around in panic.

Plot Twist: It Was a Stranger

The moment became even cuter when Susan's owner confessed something in the comments: the man behind whom the pup was hiding was not her owner at all.
