Royal family confirms death - State mourning possible!

Great sorrow in Sweden and at the Swedish royal court! Princess Birgitta, the sister of King Carl XVI. Gustaf, has passed away at her long-time residence in Mallorca. She leaves behind three children and seven grandchildren.

King Carl XVI. Gustaf expressed his deep shock in an official statement: "With great sorrow, I learned today of the death of my sister, Princess Birgitta. She was a vibrant and straightforward personality who will be sorely missed by me and my family.
