Dr. Großmann had assumed his position on October 1, 2020, after previously working for seven years at the MediClin Heart Center in Coswig. As an experienced vascular and heart surgeon, he was considered by the hospital to be a "passionate surgeon", who had significantly expanded the spectrum of surgical services. Furthermore, he had been instrumental in establishing the interdisciplinary vascular center. "The loss hurts us deeply.
