Über eine Woche nach dem Tod von Ex-Basketball-Ikone Kobe Bryant (1978-2020) und der gemeinsamen Tochter Gianna "Gigi" (2006-2020) hat Bryants Witwe Vanessa (37) ihrer Trauer auf Instagram freien Lauf gelassen. "Meine Gianna. Gott, wie ich dich vermisse", schreibt sie über ihren Schmerz. "13 Jahre lang hatte ich das Glück, aufzuwachen und dein wunderschönes Gesicht und dein tolles Lächeln zu sehen. Ich wünschte, ich hätte das bis zu meinem letzten Atemzug gekonnt. Mami liebt dich bis zum Mond und wieder zurück." Das Foto, das sie dazu veröffentlichte, stammt von einer besonderen Zeremonie.
